I have sang this song to Eloise every day since the day she has been born. I sing it when she is happy, I sing it when she is sad. I find myself singing it to her and not even realizing it. It was the very first thing as a baby that I noticed she would “respond” too. I would start singing it and as a 4-5 week old baby her smile would light up. She would even “sing” along as a baby baby. It’s kind of our song. I have a handful of other songs I sing a lot as well, but this one is always our favorite. I can’t wait for the day she can actually sing it with me. Though, he attempts at singing it now warms my heart more than anything.
