Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my little space on the internet here! I am sure MOST of you came here through knowing me personally or you follow my photography work online and followed me here! For the rare few of you who happened to stumble upon this little blog, WELCOME!
I suppose an introduction is what would be most practical for a first blog, right? Sounds good.
My name is Ashley Gardner.
This is me!
I am a wife, photographer, sister, daughter, fur mama, friend to all, and most recently Soon-To-Be-Mama! (23 weeks along to be exact!) I have a JOY and passion for connecting with people and sharing my story and learning others. I also have a deep love of photography. I thought, let’s combine all of my loves and put them on one little corner of the web. So that, my friends, is what I am doing! This will be a space for me to share in my newest adventure with stories and photos. It will not be perfect, and lord knows grammatically correct. It may turn into just a personal journal for me or something more, either way, I am totally excited!
My husband Matthew and I have been married for a little over two years now!
See, isn’t he the cutest?
We met when we were 16 at our Church Camp, Camp Sychar. I had THE biggest crush on him and told all of my friends I was going to marry him someday. We never really officially dated and we chatted on and off throughout the years and between relationships. It never stuck. Fast forward 12 years, past all the failed relationships ( a failed marriage on my part) moving, changing schools, losing family members and anything else, Matthew and I found each other again. This time in our life we were on the same page at the same time and we knew without a doubt ( at least on my part 😉 ) where our future was meant to be. Together. We dated 2 years and got married. Finally. 2 short and fully wonderful years later Matthew and I found ourselves pregnant.
This was our 2nd anniversary photo/Baby announcement. I mean, I think we are clever.
So here we are! 23 weeks in and we are super excited to be expecting Baby G. I will be sharing photos of the whole process and stories of our journey. I HOPE you come back and join me, if not, I get it. 🙂
Before I leave, I would be a horrible friend If I did not leave a little credit here. My headshot, and the photos of Matthew and I were taken by one of my dearest friends Deborah. ( I probably have a whole blog post dedicated to her coming) It was for our 2 year anniversary and I happened to be 12-13 weeks pregnant. I thought I totally looked pregnant then! You should definitely go and check her out, and look at all the photos from that anniversary session here
I hope you all have wonderful love filled day!
And to end with one last photo of our current family status
