Let me start this blog by simply saying how AMAZINGLY blessed Matthew and I are. For many many things, but for this particular post I am going to say we are blessed with family. A lot of family. A lot of GOOD family.
I come from a giant family. My Dad has 10 brothers and sisters ( and a half sister) and my mom has 13 brothers and sisters. Almost everyone one is married and has multiple kids. If you add all that up, it’s a lot, and they are all so so wonderful! Matthew’s side isn’t quite as large, but they are all close and such wonderful people!
When all of my baby shower hosts were telling me how many people were RSVP-ing I started to get teary-eyed thinking about how lucky we are. To have enough people to care for you to fill a shower, let alone 3 is an amazing thing!
I guess I just want to say how appreciative and grateful I am for all of my family who have always been there for me and supported me with enthusiasm my whole life.
Now onto this particular shower. 🙂
My step mom Susan is such an inspiring woman. She does it all. I mean, it all! She is non-stop and is ALWAYS doing something for someone else without even hesitating. She put this shower on for my Dads side of the family. ( She had some help from my sister/step sister/aunt/etc) But she worked hard to make this day nice for everyone!
She went with the theme “Boy or Girl?” since we aren’t finding out the gender until the little one gets here! It was fun! Guests made their vote whether Baby G was going to be a Boy or a Girl.
Boy won.
It was such a wonderful day filled with people I love! I just had to share!!
how cute are these little bags?
So much family! SO much Love!!
And here is a photo of someone who is entirely too happy to be receiving a diaper genie.
My beautiful step-mom Susan! Thank you for all your hard work!!!
All the ladies
