Last weekend was awesome. Crazy, jam-packed, baby filled, full of friends/family and love, awesome. You may remember from a previous blog post that my friend Stephanie is also pregnant. When she found out about my baby shower she booked a trip up to Ohio. My friends and I decided that while Steph was up here we should also throw HER a baby shower.
So Saturday we had Stephanie’s shower. It was held at a Golf club in Buckeye Lake and we went with a fun, rustic, arrow theme for the shower. Oh, and I have to mention it was a BRUNCH. Who doesn’t love brunch? Breakfast foods? We had a build your own waffle bar, make your own “Mom-mosa” and more. ( Make sure you check out the adorable donut holes on an arrow skewer!!) We had some of Steph’s closets friends and family get together and it was a lot of fun!
On Sunday we turned around and had MY shower that my in-laws threw for me! It was overwhelmingly great! We had so much family and friends there! I couldn’t believe we could pack a house with that many people, all there for Baby G!!
My Sister in law Jalana hosted the party at her house and all the family helped with food, decorations and more! We had a fun duck theme and I loved all the little rubber duckies floating everywhere! Especially the mini ducks in all the food.
I really can not explain how grateful Matthew and I are for everyone in our lives. How loving they are and how giving everyone is! It really makes my heart so so full! And it’s not just pregnancy hormones!
All in all it was a great weekend!

Quick note: In high school there were 4 of us girls who were basically inseparable! We have all kept in touch and visited each other over and over throughout the years, but we haven’t been able to all 4 get together at once. The last time was 8-9 YEARS ago! This weekend we were all able to be together, and it was like no time had passed. <3
