You guys!! Baby G is almost here! The estimated due date is MONDAY! We don’t have many plans this weekend so I am going to be spending this weekend doing anything I can healthily do to bring this baby into this world! Walks, sitting on my exercise ball, etc. If you have any good tips, let me know!
But for real, we will just happy when Baby Gardner decides they want to come. We have an induction date scheduled, but we are praying this little one will make it on it’s own before then.
A couple weeks ago my good friend and fellow photographer Stephanie with Stephanie Marie Photography went out to Alum Creek with us and captured some amazing maternity photos!
Now, for most of my pregnancy I was doing great with weight gain and swelling and I felt really good about myself and my growing baby bump. Then about a week or two before our photos I started swelling. Not the scary “I need to go to the hospital” kind, just the “I am 9 months pregnant” kind. I was feeling a little self conscious about myself going into these photos, but Stephanie made me feel beautiful. I look at these photos and I just see how Happy Matthew and I are, my growing baby and just some pretty photos! I love that!
Stephanie took up to a location local to both of us that I had never been before. ( Sorry Stephanie, I may be “borrowing” your secret spots sometime! 😉 )It was beautiful! Being a photographer I love all things sunset, outdoorsy, tall grassy and this was the perfect location. Then we went to the water! I was basically raised on a lake and I always just feel more “at home” around water. So this session just has my heart!
