I love Easter. Not just for the amazing message that Easter calls us all to remember, but for all the love and joy it brings.
This Easter we did our family scramble. A little bit of running from here to there. After our church service we headed off to Matthews family.
Matthews father recently had shoulder surgery and he is currently in a re-hab facility. So we all packed up, ordered lunch and met at the nursing home/rehab. They gave us a room with a long table that was connected to a cute little courtyard. I didn’t bring my camera in with me because not only did Matthews father recently have surgery, so did his Mom and we were meeting at the rehab center and having lunch and I just didn’t think about it. I wish I would have. We had a darling time. After lunch we went into the courtyard and had an easter egg/basket hunt for the kids. It was so much fun, and also relaxing. It was a beautiful spring day for Ohio. I will however share this share this sweet photo I took on my phone. Eloise just stretched and reclined on Grandma and Grandpa’s lap. She hung out there most of the time.
After Matthews family Easter we headed out to the lake for easter with my family. My dad lives right on the lake and it is one of my favorite places. It was so pretty out after we ate we decided to catch a couple family shots, and then everyone wanted some photos!
I had to end with a photo of my dad and Cocoa. Because…..Cocoa.
