We are back with the monthly updates!! Yay!!
Hatsy June!
This last month has been one of the hardest, busiest, poopiest months of my whole entire life. ANd you know what? It has been my absolute favorite month. We brought a 4th member into our family and she is just the perfect addition. We have had a few bumps – ER visit (Ashley) stomach bug ( Ashley, Matthew, Eloise) late nights ( Hatsy) early mornings ( Eloise) and lots of work. ( Matthew, Ashley) BUT it’s actually been a lot smoother than I expected. Hard, but we’ve done pretty well.
We have also had an overwhelmingly amount of “good” this month. Hatsy being born was obviously the greatest. Watching Eloise willingly kiss and love on her little sister makes me melt every time. Visiting with family and friends. Lots of hugs and kisses. It’s just been all around amazing.
So let’s get on the Hatsy.
I used to say I thought Eloise was an easy baby, and then I got Hatsy. She really is the easiest, most laid back happy baby. I am so SO thankful for her and her little personality. She eats like a champ, sleeps as good as can be expected and smiles in between. She is exactly the kind of baby you would want when you are also having to deal with a crazy toddler at the same time. I will forever be grateful that I got Miss Hatsy the way she is.
She is:
- Happy. ( I call her Happy Hatsy all the time)
- Smiling up a storm this last week. Now she smiles continuously. Especially all through her sleep.
- A great eater. A champ.
- Probably between 9-10 pounds? She has an apt in a few weeks.
- Loves being talked/sang to
- Doesn’t mind her sister’s craziness all around her. Can sleep through Eloise’s chatter, singing, and even her breakdowns.
This month she:
- Was Born! YAY!
- Met all of her family and some friends
- Smiled for the first time
- Went to work with Mama – already
- Got lots and lots of snuggles
We are so so happy to have this little girl with us.
