Oh man, you guys! This might be the first time I didn’t sneak in 2 blogs in one month! BUT July has been one of our very busiest months and it just didn’t happen. I have so many photos and stories I want to share. August is supposed to be a bit slower so hopefully, I will make up for my lack of posting.
We had cabin trips after cabin trips and family reunions after family reunions this month. It was GO, GO, GO and meet, meet, meet and we are now just waiting for rest, rest, rest because now we all have a cold and we need some cuddle time.
This month she is:
- Finally giggling, and the verdict is still out, but we may have a snorter…..
- a champion roller. Just from back to belly. I am not sure Matthew and I have ever actually seen her do it all the way. We lay her down, turn around to check on something else, come back and shes over. One day we will see it!
- Sleeping through the night. Like a champ.
This month she:
- Stayed at a cabin for a week with her cousins, 2nd cousins, 3 cousins once removed on her dads side. You name it. We were there. We laughed, played, hiked and ate great food!
- Had another family reunion on MY side. Met so many more cousins, 2nd cousins once removed, etc. I am not sure of all the titles, but they were all there.
- Celebrated her first 4th!!
- Saw her first fireworks! She seemed unphased.
- Had her first Camp Sychar experience. Outside the belly at least!
- Multiple zoo trips to multiple zoos.
- weekend trip to northern Ohio to visit more cousins.
- Hiked the caves in Hocking Hills
So you see, it has been quite an eventful month. It felt like summer and I loved it!!
