Hatsy turned a year and a half just a couple weeks ago. So to celebrate She went on a small Mama/Hatsy date. I knew I wanted to get her a small stuffy for sleeping with. When Eloise was around this same age I took her to one of our favorite local kid’s stores and she picked out a small soft cat. If you have seen the brand JellyCat you know these animals are so stinkin soft and cute. So Hatsy and I packed up and headed to the store so she could pick her own JellyCat animal. Low and behold she chose a cat just like her sister. Thankfully they were different colors or else we’d have been in big trouble.
Hatsy definitely doesn’t get enough one on one time with me. Eloise is almost always with us. So on our little shopping trip/photo session, I could tell she was so excited to have me all to herself. She wouldn’t stop chatting away!
After our little shopping trip, we headed out to take a few 18-month photos. Hatsy is just really the cutest little lady, sometimes I just can’t help it.
Things I just LOVE about Hatsy right now:
- How she is almost always happy (unless she REALLY wants something)
- How she is SMART and resourceful. She will find a way to get what she wants all on her own.
- How she holds herself with poise. She sits or stands with her feet and hands almost always together and she just looks so proper and sweet I can hardly handle it. She definitely carries herself in a totally different way than her sister and that isn’t even something I thought toddlers could have! lol.
- How the corner of her mouth curls up in the prettiest smile.
- How funny she is.
- How she INSISTS on doing EVERYTHING Eloise does.
- How she loves her sister.
- How she loves me. (<3)
- how she throws her whole body into a wiggle when she dances. The girl LIVES for dancing.
- Lately, she has been grabbing my face or my neck and pulling me in really close and just holding me. Sometimes humming when she does. It’s so sweet it brings tears to my eyes almost every time.
(obviously, there is a lot more, but this is some of my favorites!)
She really is just the best little girl and I love watching her grow into this beautiful little lady!
