Valentines Day

You get the outfit all together and all the accessories, you re-arrange your kitchen, set everything up to get THE most adorable Valentines Day photos of your daughter EVER, and then she just doesn’t care. In her defense, I had taken a whole different set of photos BEFORE this set, so she had reached her limit. But honestly, I don’d mind. At the time I was super frustrated ( I blame pregnancy) but seeing these photos, this is what she is like 90% of the day. Inquiring and on the go. I love that about her. I have to remind myself of that while trying to photograph her. But once I upload them, edit them and put them in a post, I love them, because they are her.

I LOVE Valentines Day. I don’t know why. I love Love, and the color red, and maybe because my hubby and I don’t put too much pressure on it at all, it is just one of my favorite holidays. I also associate it with being towards the end of winter, so that may help as well. I usually host a Galentines Day Party, but this year, the thought just overwhelmed me and I decided to take a year off. I am totally OK with that.

We don’t have any big plans for Valentines Day this year. We may go to dinner. We don’t have a babysitter so we would be a family date, and we are fine with that. Or we may wait a couple days, get a sitter and have dinner just hubby and I. Either way, we will spend time together and that’s what matters to us.

I hope you all have a lovely day of Love!
