Mister One Month

We made it! We made it to One Month! This past month has been one of the hardest months our family has ever faced beyond just having a newborn. We are tired, exhausted, delirious, heartbroken and hurt, but beyond all that this has been the greatest month of our lives as well. Nolan was meant to be with us. It feels so right and natural and weirdly easy? (while still being extremely difficult? If that’s possible?) We are so incredibly happy to have him here.

We have been so blessed to have easy, healthy babies, but Nolan takes the cake. He sleeps as much as a newborn is supposed to. He eats like a champ and generally is just a chill baby. (Unless he needs his diaper changed or fed. Then you better take care of that right away. ) He hates being in his car seat when it’s still but loves moving. He adores his sisters and will instantly try to find them when he hears their voices. He is ALMOST ready to smile. He is definitely trying, and he poops more than both my girls combined.

My girls are obsessed with him and my favorite thing is EVERY morning they rush to see him and then instantly exclaim how cute and tiny he is, like it’s the very first time they’ve seen him. They cover him in kisses and cuddles and learning how to be around him safely. Eloise is really the best big helper and I learned why people keep having kids, because it becomes easier and easier as the bigger ones get older and can help more and more. lol.

We love this little dude and can’t wait to see more of his personality come over the next couple of months!
